On the tenth day.......

#10 reason why I dearly love my man is because he is so Patient. He never loses his temper. 

Actually, I have never ONCE heard him raise his voice. He is constantly helping when I am frustrated or something, he asks how he can help. 

When Kinlee purposly "spills" her juice on the floor he calmly tells her to go into the kitchen and do not do that again. 

When she wont eat her dinner, he patiently waits with her while trying to convince her to eat. 

While we were dating....I think he looks so sweet in this pic. I always have to ruin it. haha

NINER

#9 Reason I love my man is that he supports me in whatever it is I want to do or accomplish. No matter how dumb he thinks it is. Like for instance, when I started couponing, he HATED it, but he still supported me in doing it (of course now he thinks its the best thing ever;) 

Another example is when those bead watches were really in style, so of course I want to get all the beads I can, and make them all the time, and give them as gifts, and buy buy buy. Well, this one he kept telling me, this is a fad that you are just going through, but thats ok, you can do it, it just wont last long. He was right, it didn't last long, but it was fun while it lasted because he supported me in it.

Another example is when I started crafting, with my moms Cricut. I kept saying how cool it would be to have one, even though I was only using it maybe once a month, he still bought one for me, and continues to buy me things that go to it. 

It is just really sweet that no matter my ambitions, he supports me. 

He supports me financially, and emotionally. 

He makes me feel like whatever it is I am wanting to do is worth while and that he is proud of me. I love it.

When we were dating, I'm actually pretty sure this is the night we got engaged, but B4 the engagement.

Four times Two

Coming up with creative names for these posts is a real challenge. ;) 

#8 Reason is that he doesn't make me feel like a bad wife when dinner isn't made and the house isn't cleaned. Instead, he just asks what we want for dinner, or starts picking up. I'm not sure if that is a passive-aggressive way of telling me that I need to get on it, but I doubt it. He does it, it makes me want to get on it, and it gets done. Even though I know it should be done, and I am getting better at that, he never has made me feel like he thinks I should have it done. I appreciate that, and it really motivates me to be better at it.

SEVEN

#7- This is going to sound dumb, but I love that he has never EVER said a bad word. He is so good about that. He corrects me when I say "stupid" or something silly like that. He works in the automotive world, and is around nasty, dirty minded men all day long who drop the F bomb all day long and he never has said even the slightest bad word. Honestly, he has such a clean mind it is unreal. I LOVE IT! I love love love that I can trust that he is just as clean without us around as he is with us around. I never have to worry that Kinlee is going to pick up on something he said or he will "accidentally" slip up. There should be no reason to worry if you just don't say things you shouldn't be saying! 

This was before we were married, but I am pretty sure we were engaged? Cant remember.

Sixer

#6 reason is that he honors his priesthood and is so wonderful at his church callings. I am grateful that he is able to be in the Elders corm and serves so diligently. He makes a great counselor to his president. He attends the meetings, he finds teachers for the month, he figures out who needs home teachers, he meets EVERYONE at church and is involved in making them feel welcome into the ward. 

He is able to give blessings, he is a home teacher, and just an all around great member of the Church.

High Five

#5 Reason is that he is an AMAZING dad. Kinlee adores him and cannot wait until he gets home. She yells "Daddy!!!" when he comes home. She calls him a few times a day. He is always there to greet her with a huge smile. They play so cute together. They act like puppies, they build forts, they build towers and knock them over, they play with her kitchen and make pretend food, they laugh, they watch movies, they run around, he tickles her, reads her books, teaches her EVERYTHING. He is such a cute daddy, I couldn't have asked for a better father for my kids.

Fourth on my list

#4 Thing is how sincerely sweet he is. I can honestly say I have never met a more caring person. He things of others non stop. Never is concerned about what HE is going to have for lunch. He is concerned about what Kinlee or I are having. He will come home sometimes and make OUR lunches before he makes his with his hour long lunch break. (I realize I should have lunch ready for him, but I don't get done with school until 1:00- excuses excuses I know) 

Seriously, though, I am so lucky to have him as my hubby. He is not like most husbands, he doesn't do what husbands are supposed to do. He is so darn sweet. 

He leaves me notes. Like today for instance, he left me a note that said "Good luck. I love you." Because I had a test this morning I was really nervous about. 

He scrapes my windows in the morning, and shovels me a walkway to my car. 

He switches my parking pass every time we switch cars, I would totally forget to do that if it weren't for him. He packs the bag for Sunday at church for Kinlee. 

He changes more diapers than I do. 

......the list could go on FOREVER.......

Ok, but now I am getting into more than I should. I am giving away how much I DONT do. He is amazing.

TREE

#3 Reason why I love my hubby! He gets so mad when I torment him. Like if I tickle him or pinch him, ya know the whole flirty stuff you used to do when you were dating stuff. 

He HATES it. 

More than anything. 

Its hilarious when I do because he pushes me away like I was so mean to him. Okay, maybe not EVERY time, but most of the time he freaks. Its so fun to tease him!! :)
Oh yeah, and lastly he always acts like he is going to puke when I have tickled him too long.
He just barely did that exact thing. BAHAHAHA

All the pictures of us on "casual" days are horrible. But that's why I'm having fun posting them. Because they aren't things I would normally want people to see. haha.

Numbero Dos

#2- I love Mr. Meudt because he calls at least 3 times in a day when we are away from each-other. 

Once in the morning to tell me to have a good day. 

Once before he comes home for lunch to make sure I will be there to see him. 

Once in the middle of the day, usually just because. No real reason. 

Once when he is on his way home. No real reason there either except to tell me he is on his way home. 

I love that. Even IF we have NOTHING to say to each-other, we still talk that much. Love it. 

Not only does he call that many times, but I for some reason I don't answer, he leaves a message for me to get. Usually it says Hey, its Kev. Just calling cuz...........love you bye.

14 Reasons why I love my husband! 

Leading up to Valentines Day.

Random thought in Chemistry: I want my husband to know how much I love him. Like really, why do I love him. What can I do to show him? I just want to post something each day that tells him why I love him. I will also post a picture of us together within the last 4 years of us knowing each other. Anywhere from dates, to engagement, to wedding, to now! (whew...that's a lot of photos haha) This should be interesting!!

#1- He is always moving. Such a hard worker. He never stops going going going, therefore, he gets a LOT done in a single day. I never feel like I have worked harder than him. He is always helping me around the house or with Kinlee. He is the 1st one up, and the last one to bed. I appreciate the work he does at home as well as what a good job I know he is doing at his work place. They love him there!

This actually wasn't long ago. I don't know the exact date, but it was within the last year.

Books from Gabe

There is a sweet lady who I met through my mom (She is in her ward) who lost her precious little boy Gabe about 6 months ago. They still aren't sure how he passed away, but she is seriously such an inspiration to me. I love to read her blog, she keeps such a great outlook on life. How hard would that be to lose someone you love so much as your child? I have no idea, but from what I can see, she is doing an AMAZING job at dealing with it. You can read about it here to get the full story, and to keep updated on how she is doing. 

Anyway, because she is such an awesome person, she decided to do a book drive from Gabe. She gathered donated books from all around the Pocatello area and held a night dedicated to labeling, categorizing, and cleaning the books. She then took them to Portneuf and a couple other hospitals for them to give children when they get admitted so they have something to read and take home with them. I thought it was such a good idea, and it probably means so much to that child who receives it. I was so fortunate to get to help, and the feeling was so amazing. Here is a picture from that night.

Its IN!!!

I SENT IN MY APPLICATION TODAY!!  AHHHHHHHHH!!!  

April 1st is the first cut off. 

The top 50 applicants will be notified and will get to have an interview, and a critical thinking test. Oh my heck, I don't think I have ever been so nervous!  

I am petrified right now.

The first day of school went well. Seems to be pretty straight forward so far. Its going to be hard to get back into the whole swing of things, but I'm looking forward to more knowledge. 

I feel so blessed to get to go to school and to have a sister who helps us out IMMENSELY by watching our cute little weasel! Speaking of Kinlee. She makes me so happy :)

FHE...watching Despicable Me....sort-of. I'm currently on the computer, but here I go!

Hope everyone had a great Sunday. I know that I surely had a rough one with my little munchkin. She is surely independent and she doesn't want to be told no. Sacrament was difficult. 

Hopefully next week will be better.

New Years!

New Years eve, Kevin had the day off, so we hopped in the car and drove to Utah. 

Kind-of funny, we took a cooler and sandwiches and you would think I was either pregnant or an old lady, because we literally stopped every exit. 

Inkom we stopped at the automotive shop to get new windshield wipers. 

We stopped in McCammon to go to the potty, 

we stopped at the rest area by Malad to go potty, 

we stopped in Layton to shop and go potty.

Finally, we stopped at the temple. Oh boy it was great.

Next, we went to my aunt and uncle's in American Fork, UT and stayed a couple nights.

Christmas!

Sorry- its a long one!
I am a little late on this post, but we had just an awesome Christmas! We stayed home so that Santa could come to Kinlee and she got so spoiled. She is such a fun little girl. She is always making us laugh. 

I had to get photos off the ipod, so they aren't great quality, but that is alright.

Here is what we did for Christmas this year.
We started with our annual Christmas gingerbread house.
We built it Christmas eve day and drank hot chocolate. It was fabulous.
Kinlee had the best job. She ate all the candy, and helped just a bit :)

Next, that evening we went to my Grandma's house for dinner.
Pretty close to everyone was there. It is always fun to get together with that family because we hardly see them. We sure missed my Grandpa though.

Christmas Morning:
We stayed at our house and woke up to what santa brought us!

Kevin and I got this:

Kinlee when she first came out of her room. She was more interested in the people who were there to see her! (My mom and dad, chelsie, mike, and Liam, Whitney, Logan, Saige, and Peyton)

 She got SOOOO much stuff from all the family. Books, learning videos, doll stuff, a rocking chair, clothes, a tag reader, a fridge phonics, more books, blocks...seriously, she got so much.

After we were finished at our house, we went to my mom and dad's to open gifts and have breakfast. We stayed late and made dinner and hung out all day. It was great.
For our big gift my mom sent us on a scavenger hunt throughout the house gathering clues to where it was.

Then, the last clue took us to the garage where we found a TRAMPOLINE!! What?! A big. Nice. Tramp!!
We cant wait to put it up. Kinlee will be in heaven. I will be in heaven!

The day after Christmas, we went to Kevin's moms house. We had dinner, opened presents, and played the Wii bowling. We had a great time!

That is the only picture I got of the night, but Kinlee once again got spoiled. 
She got the rocking chair, a sleeping bag, purse, hat, a couple books, lip stuff, and a Dora movie.
Kevin and I were really spoiled too. 
We got a dehydrator, a set of dishes, socks, a blanket, etc.


Kevin's family from NC, FL, and Maryland got kinlee lots too (mentioned in the list above)

3rd Anniversary

December 21 was our 3rd year of being married. Can I just tell you that Kevin is such a sweet guy. I basically forgot about it with being so busy with Christmas stuff and school finals that it came so fast. But Kevin didn't forget. He got me the most beautiful flowers and wrote the sweetest letter to me. I'm not going to lie- I teared up a bit. Then we went to dinner at Chilis and just hung out the rest of the night. It was great!  I sure do love that man of mine. I am so lucky to be with him for time and all eternity. We are looking forward to another hundred years of marriage!!! LOVE YOU KEV!!!!

Grandpa

My grandpa is such a great guy. From the time I was a little girl I was always his little sweetheart. He liked me the best of all the grand kids ;) At least I thought so anyways. When I got married he thought he lost his little sweetheart, but I didn't think so- I always thought of him as one of my best friends. When I had Kinlee he has been hooked on her bright blue eyes. He then called her his sweetheart as with the other grand babies. He has long been my only grandpa and I cant believe how fast it can all be taken away from us. He has still got a little of time left- he is in the hospital right now not doing so great, but I hope he knows how much we love him and we are thinking of him. I want him so badly to pull through so that I can show him how much he means to us. We have been so caught up in our own lives that we haven't been over to visit him for almost a year. How pathetic is that to my one and only Grandpa whom I love so much. Grandpa has always taught me so much. He tells 3 hour stories about how to use a telephone, or reads every traffic sign to us all across the state on the longest drive to the coast. He makes sure that we know how HE wants something done. Grandpa would always just show up to our houses just to say hi when he was out. Even IF he had serious leg problems. Grandpa always wanted home-made jam from our apricot tree. He loved it. Too bad this year we didn't get our apricots or we would have had a reason to go see him. I wish I had just 2 minutes left to tell him how special he is to me. 

Please, Please, Please let him pull through.

Thanksgiving.

We had an awesome time in FLORIDA over Thanksgiving. Here are some pics from the trip!

This last one is funny because we tried so hard to get a good picture of us under water with my new waterproof camera, but we couldn't get it in time!!!

We went shopping.

We went fishing! (twice- it was too fun the first time to not go again)

We went to the beach. Kinlee had a ball.

We went to Saratoga Jungle gardens where we got to see up close animals and watch silly little shows that were educational and fun.

We ate tons of awesome food- but didn't go out even once to a restaurant.

We went swimming in Oma and Opa's pool.

We had Thanksgiving with Alan, Angie, Derek, Oma, Opa, Corey, Wilfred and Ushie ( From Germany- I dont know how to spell her name for real) Aunt Joan, and Howard and his wife. (Also from Germany)

Such a fun time! Cant wait to go again!

Day 14, 15, 16

Day 14: I am grateful for temples. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve people I don't know just because I know they need the help. I have never really understood temples until I was able to go through for myself. I love it, and I have a goal of going every month, and even though that doesn't happen because life is so crazy- It will start happening when I am done with work. No excuses now.

I am beyond excited to do the marvelous work for the lord and all these wonderful people.

We will be going in Florida to the nearest temple and boy am i excited. "I love to see the temple" is one of the songs I love to sing to Kinlee- because I hope that one day she will have the desire to enter that sacred place of love and beauty.

Day 15: I am grateful for good friends.I am always feeling sorry for myself when I haven't heard from friends in a while and I feel just lonely. I don't know why, because I have the most amazing friends ever that teach me so much. I am grateful for the fact that they share the same standards as me. LDS or not, they are great people who care about me and others. I was able to go to a girls night last night, Bunco, with one of my great friends and I met so many amazing people. I see how important it is to be close with your ward family. They are all so fun and such great people. I had a great time. Thanks to those ladies for the great laughs, food, teasing, and loud FUN!

Day 16:  Today I am grateful for music. Music has always been a big part of my life growing up in a music teachers' home! I wish I was more musical myself, but I just LOVE listening to music. It always finds a way to be uplifting and gets me into a better mood! I love it because Kinlee dances too!! haha She is so adorable! I definitely will always cherish the silly little things she does!!
