Dental Hygiene School

I haven't really blogged about school yet, because I really don't know what to say about it.
It is really hard.
It is time consuming.
It is interesting.
It is challenging.
It is serious.
It is rewarding.
It is an honor to be in such a program.
It is of course is helping me learn so much!
I have really been blessed in so many ways.  I am able to leave Kinlee all day 5 days a week and she is a champ about it.  She learns so much each day too, and it is a great program for her. She gets a well balanced and nutritious meals each day, she learns to play with children her age, she does crafts, takes naps, and she has so much fun. I am blessed that I have a mind that is able to learn. That totally seems silly, but I feel fortunate that I am able to be taught.  I cant wait to implement the things that I have learned and help educate patients and "clean their teeth".  I am loving what I am doing, even if it is taking every moment of every day to accomplish it!!

1 semester down and 3 to go! WOO!!

Pics from the semester...

Portland

Twin nephews are the greatest!  We went to help my sister with Liam while she had her babies, and they never really decided to come, but lucky for us- 2 days before we were supposed to be coming home, the doctor decided that it was time!  We got to meet Lucus and Jude!!  They are so cute and sweet. I love them so much. I cant wait to see them in February! Pics of the little guys:)

It was great to see the Bradys and enjoy the children fighting with each-other.

Liam is ALL boy!!

Christmas

This year for Christmas we went to Kevin's moms house for Christmas eve to spend the day with them.  We cooked, hung out with the Hill side of the family, opened presents, and ate LOTS of food:) Kinlee got super spoiled and so did we.

We then drove home, and it was time for bed so that Santa could come.  Kinlee was so funny. She kept saying "Santa wont come if Kinlee is out of bed, so I have to stay in bed." This was the first time in a LONG time that she actually stayed in bed when we first put her there!  It was awesome. I wish Santa could come every day!  Kinlee woke up and came in our room to sleep. It was 7 am so I just asked her if she wanted to go open presents. She was SO excited, so we took her out to find her santa gift. She couldn't find it, and it was huge! haha Funny girl. She got a bike!  She has been asking for a bike for a little over 6 months now, so we were very excited!  She got so many other things its unreal!

After the present opening, we went to my sister's ward for sacrament. It was a musical play that talked about the life of Christ. It was just what we needed to help us remember the real meaning of Christmas.  I love listening to church music, and I always get a lot more out of lessons when music is incorporated, so it was great for me.

After church we headed to my parents house for breakfast and presents.  We opened our presents and talked to TODD, then we ate breakfast and hung out as a family.  The kids played with their new toys and the rest of us relaxed.  A little later, we ate dinner as a family and hung out some more.  It was relaxing and fun!  We had such a good time, and got super spoiled. We spent lots of time with our families which makes it a perfect time.
